A Master Black Belt certification is the highest certification you can achieve in Lean Six Sigma. Master black belts have excellent leadership ability, are very innovative, and demonstrate a strong commitment and dedication to the practice and advancement of quality and improvement. A certified Master Black Belt can mentor Black Belts, visit any organization, determine where the wastes and inefficiencies are, and lead a multi-departmental team in completing major transformational, enterprise-wide initiatives to eliminate wastes, errors, inefficiencies, and risks. Master Black Belts complete projects that would impact KPI's, KPM's or major business goals. Master Black Belts can also train and certify others in leading transformational projects themselves from inside the organization.
